Before joining Cadre Health, David worked as an attorney and CPA, tackling difficult legal problems for large and small businesses. His passion for problem-solving led him to found 7MB, a technology company that reimagines the way we view time. Now, he brings a wealth of experience and optimism to every challenge Cadre Health meets.

He brings a keen business sense to Cadre Health and backs the team as they herald a better future for healthcare.

Eric Brown, Chief Medical Officer & Chief Solutions Officer

As a practicing emergency physician for the last 20 years, Eric has been on the front lines of a fragmented healthcare system. This experience has fueled his interests in performance improvement and hospital leadership. After his residency, Eric joined the EM faculty of Palmetto Health and led the development of the Palmetto Health - USC School of Medicine Simulation Center in Columbia SC. Most recently, he served as the Physician Executive/Chief Medical Officer at an academic Level I trauma center and spearheaded patient flow improvement efforts across four hospitals as the System VP of Operational Excellence. Along the way, Eric has pursued several startup ventures and holds a patent for a technology he co-developed. He believes that while caring for patients at the bedside is rewarding, Cadre Health will shape the next generation health system by applying best-in-class, innovative technologies to complex problems across the healthcare continuum.

Amy Funderburk, Chief Nursing Officer & Chief Operating Officer

With 23 years as an RN, 16 years in hospital leadership, and a doctorate in executive leadership and healthcare management, Amy is an invaluable asset to the Cadre Health team. Her broad range of prior healthcare experience includes working in executive management, project management, regulatory and epidemiology oversight, and serving as a Magnet program director, and later as a co-writer for two successful accreditations.
